LONGWAVE CLUB OF AMERICA 45 Wildflower Road, Levittown PA 19057

The Longwave Club of America was organized in January, 1974 to promote monitoring and experimentation on frequencies below the AM broadcast band. Such activities have come to include hearing and identifying navigational beacons, recording and analyzing natural radio emissions at very low frequencies, transmitting under low power rules in the 1750 meter band, and later on other frequencies where such 'Part 15' activity is also permitted.

The club is a not-for-profit organization, and dues are charged only to cover publication of the club bulletin, mailing, promotional and bookkeeping costs. The LWCA is a member organization of the Association of North American Radio Clubs (ANARC), and is a sister organization of the North America Shortwave Association (NASWA), with whom it shares the publisher of its bulletin.

Membership dues for the Longwave Club of America are currently $21.00 a year in the United States, or $24 for delivery in an envelope. To Canada & Mexico: US$25 yearly. Elsewhere: US$28 per year. If you remit via PayPal, please add $1 to each of these rates to cover PayPal surcharges.

Dues include our monthly publication, The LOWDOWN. Checks and money orders should be made out directly to the publisher, Bill Oliver, not to LWCA. Mail to the same address that has been used for decades: The Longwave Club of America, 45 Wildflower Road, Levittown, PA 19057.
